Cornerstone Room 206 (Chapel) Teacher: Pam Kraus
Our class is excited to be growing; we’re currently stretching the walls to get everyone in and we continue to welcome visitors and new members with open arms. Our members represent a variety of ages and stages, but our primary age group is adults in their 30’s and 40’s with children. We enjoy studying together and our passion is lively class discussion on a variety of Christian topics that apply to our daily lives. We also enjoy an occasional social event that includes our family members.

Crusaders (Room 301) Teacher: A variety of guest teachers/speakers
Our minds are open and we love to learn. We enjoy studying lessons each Sunday on a wide variety of Christian topics and Bible studies that help us grow in our faith and expand our horizons. Our lessons are taught by a variety of people – some from our own class and some guests from outside our class. We are a large class with an average attendance of over 45 members each Sunday. Most of us are over the age of 60 and some of us are enjoying the retired life. We warmly welcome visitors into our supportive fellowship. |
 |
Faithbuilders (Room 101/ Conference Room) Teacher: Willing class members rotate
Supportive friendship is important to our class. We enjoy touching base with each other as we participate in a variety of studies presented by some of our class members or by video. We especially enjoy discussing and learning more about living our Christian lives on a daily basis. We are one of those mid-way groups – no longer young adults ourselves, but most of us have young adult children and especially enjoy the fellowship of being together and caring for each other.

Gracefinders (Room 306) Teacher: Steve Griffin
Diversity in age-range (30’s – 60’s with most of us somewhere in the middle) and in our individual backgrounds describes our class family. We enjoy learning from each other and our varied experiences enhance our class discussion. Our lessons are primarily taken from The Thoughtful Christian which focuses on faithful living in a complex world. Sharing our lives together, from our faith struggles to the joys and sorrows of daily living, is important to our class family. Come join our family of believers as we learn and grow together in faithful living. |

Lifeliters (Room 111) Teacher: Jon Isin
Christ is our Light and we strive to live our lives so that His Light shines through us. Our group also has a passion for missions and outreach as we periodically share in a mission project or help a missionary financially. We enjoy Bible-based studies with good discussion that helps us to nurture and strengthen our faith. Many of us are recently retired or are looking forward to that new era of life as we see it on the horizon. Our congenial, friendly group welcomes visitors and new members to join us for Sunday School class, our periodic social events, and our mission projects. |
 |
Pathfinders (Room 105) Teacher: Dwight Fruechting
We are passionate about Bible study and on any given Sunday you will find us gathered in our classroom as we participate in listening and discussing lessons from The New International Lesson Annual as taught by our Bible scholar/teacher, Dwight Fruechting. We enjoy learning and talking about the parables, miracles, Christ’s life, familiar and not-so-familiar Bible stories, and so much more. If you enjoy studying the Bible, come visit our class. We welcome new members of all ages and would enjoy developing an intergenerational class even though our current members are all of retirement age. |
 |
Peacemakers (Room 203) Teacher: Variety of guest teachers/speakers
We have grown up together since 1947 and have seen a lot of changes as our members have come and gone and our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have grown. We’re a friendly, welcoming group of mature persons who have the honor of having some of our congregation’s oldest members as part of our class. We enjoy learning together through a diverse selection of special speakers who share lessons on a variety of topics including missions, social concerns, community agencies, and Bible study to name a few. Come, join us; we’d love to have you! |
 |
Seekers (Room 302) Teacher: Shared by several class members
When you come to visit you’ll find a group primarily in their 40’s and 50’s with our chairs arranged in a circle to enhance our lively class discussions as we study a variety of different lessons that explore and strengthen our faith in Christ. Our class is led by a few of our willing class members who share the responsibility and we decide our study topics together as a group. In the past we’ve enjoyed studies by Max Lucado, Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, and The Wired Word. Our class is quite active in the church, so you will find our members frequently teaching other classes. |

G.I.F.T. (Growing In Faith Together) (Room 107) Teachers: Alison Williams, Amber Fiske, Kristina Litchman
The honor of being the newest adult class at FUMC belongs to our class. Our group is made up of young adults in their 20’s and 30’s and our major goal is reflected in our name plus we want to continue expanding our class membership. We are a friendly, sociable group who welcomes other young adults to come and join in our lessons and in our fellowship together. We generally gather at Fellowship Café (in east Fellowship Hall) before moving to our classroom. Our class members are diverse in their Christian backgrounds, but stand together in supporting each other and growing together in our Christian faith. |
